To bring any change in the community , the women are the most effective agents of change.
One of the main activities of CLT is to empower women with the -

• Information and Training on early childhood care and development of each child as it is vital for the holistic development of the community.
  
  
• Information on "Parenting skills and values" The right parenting values brings the positive change in the personality of each child /adult of the family, which is the essence of community development. It is a programme which takes on the life cycle approach and address to the following components of parenting.
  

  Parental Readiness to youth, (Empowering them with family life skills, Reproductive health, and personality development) Planning for parenthood, celebrating pregnancy. Welcoming the baby. Nurturing the child-youth

• Strengthening the Self-Help Groups- It will give them the confidence to run their families, enhancing their lifestyles and take care of the basic needs of health, nutrition, and education of their children in a comfortable and peaceful environment and create a learning environment for children to excel.
