Children
Our programs target kids from Government schools, as they are at risk of discontinuing education around 6th grade owing to challenges such as poverty, culture-biased practices and schools not providing a conducive learning environment.
By providing a support system, we create the necessary tools for the completion of schooling.
Teachers
Educators are given access to supplementary teaching resources that supports in-class material. With the aid of information communication tools, they are better able to engage children in interactive sessions.
CLT has regular workshops for Capacity building of teachers.
Community
Majority of the families are under-privileged. Poverty, illiteracy, lack of skills and lack of self-governing principles have been the stumbling blocks for development. As the cottage industries decreasing, most depend on daily labour and seasonal agricultural work which would yield inconsistent and low daily wages.
CLT has learning extension programs for adults at the CLT Centre.
